when everything is human, the human is an entirely different thing

when everything is human, the human is an entirely different thing attempts to picture ourselves as fully part of our environment by blurring the borders between ourselves and our surroundings. it researches a way to physically distance the human body from a specific identity and to embrace ‘being’ in its purest form. with the usage of plaster, the differences between performers and space slowly fade away. the bodies become one with the plaster, giving the idea that they will permanently dissolve into the surroundings.

the performance was nominated in 2016 for the ‘bng bank theater prize’.

‘with minimal means, they know how to provoke the audience into asking strong questions. a reflection on nature, identity, the human condition.’ theaterkrant
